Here we are again, my bookworm friends. Yes, the IWSG romance anthology and my own book came out within days of each other. It’s just the way things worked out, timing wise.

As of today, you can get your hands on Michaela and Hiro’s story and it’s a good one. It’s someone with a devoted romance background (hi, it me) taking on superhero tropes and adding a happily ever after to the kind of stories which don’t often get their happy ending in the movies.

Because, really, superheroes get to have sex. I don’t see why it’s so incredibly taboo in the comics and movies. Think about it. In the source material only the villains get any kind of sexy action, and when they do it’s a suuuuper toxic relationship causing death and mayhem to everyone. Or the superhero falls in chaste, chivalrous love with the Everyday Girl™, who then immediately gets killed to give him some backstory with the villain. Or lost in another dimension. Or put in a coma. Or something. Whatever. The point is, relationships and romance are thin on the ground when it comes to superheroes, and this seemed unfair to me. So I wrote one.

If you’re looking for a kind of Marvel-Universe-lite with sexy bits, superpowers, and snark, this book is for you. If you like tense restaurant dinners, some family drama, and finding your inner strength, this book is for you. If you prefer doomed, tragic love stories more traditional to the superhero tropes I don’t know what to tell you, cause this is not that book. It’s available wide, so you can find it at

Barnes and Noble

Apple Books

Kobo

and Amazon

If you like supporting your local library and being financially wise, it’s also available on the Borrow Box app.

The characters from my novella set in this same universe make their appearance in this book, which was a lot of fun. And I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to guess who’s coming next by the end of this one, too. All around a fun time. I hope you enjoy!
