✔️ Language barrier shenanigans
✔️ On the run together on Danger Planet™️ where everything will eat you and you need a Grr

✔️ Grr has brothers so there are more books! Definitely pick it up if you want a quick, low angst entertaining evening.

I keep waiting for a "good" night when I've got spare time and some energy and then finally realized, this is not happening. At no times do I have both. So, in possession of some time and zero energy, here is my trope review!
✔️Half human, half alien heroine from the far future
✔️ As advertised; two headed hero!
✔️ 2 distinct personalities: one sunshine, one grumpy. The perfect hero in one body.
✔️ ✨Everything comes in twos✨ (cough, cough, #AlienPeen🍆)
✔️Head 2 (the grumpy one) is terrified of feelings, and being the conjoined third wheel 😭, and messes things up on purpose because; emotional safety is better than true love ... Right?
✔️Cue immediate realization of stupidity and EPIC GROVEL. With PRESENTS.
✔️Escapism: boss level. I was absorbed, invested, and so fluffy feel good when they got their triad HEA 🥰

New Year: new bookstagram format for me. Full time teaching is kicking my ass, and the Covid taking out co-workers left & right leaving us short handed ✨ is not helping✨ So I'm going to try catching up on some of my previous reads with their reviews. Short, sweet, probably spicy, is what this account is about now.

Her Alien Farmhand by @honeyphillipsauthor ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (4.5)
Look, Honey Phillips is one of my very favorite #SciFiRomance authors, so from the start this is a 4 star minimum threshold.
Eve is barely holding things together on her farm, and she's super lonely.
Roarden is outcast by both humans and Vultori (think space werewolves) for being halfbreed, and he's super lonely. Throw the two lonely, wounded beings together and I'm here for it!
Roarden is a true Honey Phillips alpha. Growly, protective, possessive, but fully respectful of the heroine's agency. Eve balances him perfectly with her practical, kind nature. I bought their connection as mates immediately. The only reason half a star got knocked off is the resolution with the Big Bad and some plot threads that got their ass kicked into a wall and then...just kinda drifted off, but it could be setup for a future book.
Much recommend!

#SciFiRomance is coming through for me this holiday season. I wanted more festive frolics with tails and horns and, BEHOLD, Marina Simcoe delivered. Right now I am not mentally prepared to take on anything containing even a *smidgen* of angst, darkness, or reality and this book was exactly what I needed it to be.
✔️ Fun fluff? Yep
✔️ Grumpy/Sunshine? YESS
✔️ Volunteer new frontiers mail-order-bride? You betcha
✔️ Adorable stepchildren to love? Right this way, please
So far it's a solid, comfortable 4 star read with the potential for 5 if I get those sweet squeezy heart feels at the end. Daisy's unbeatable optimism is making me happy I will keep you updated.
